Chapter Meeting Presentations
Just an fyi that the following need not be strictly enforced at the JV and below levels:

Ball with NFHS logo. JV and lower teams are lucky to have game balls at all.

Ball runners. With bench numbers so low for many schools, you may not always have ball runners.

Uniform issues. Again, JV and lower are lucky to have any uniforms to wear.
Things you must be strict with at all levels:

Getting a roster and checking it before game starts.

Ensuring bench conduct is appropriate and dealing with it quickly when an issue arises.

Enforcement of age and size appropriate shin guard (also applies to varsity).

Enforcement of no jewelry, even taped over or plastic inserts for earrings, etc. Exception are medical or religious medals which must be taped to the body.

Enforcement of coach's box.
Clarification on the illegal equipment cautions.

The first caution for an illegally equipped player goes to the Head Coach. If he/she is already sitting on a caution, they are still subject to being cautioned for the illegally equipped player.

The first illegally equipped player is sent to the touchline to correct the illegal item and does not sit the five minutes. He/she is eligible to be substituted at the next opportunity for an eligible substitution.

A second player found to have illegal equipment is shown the yellow card and must sit the five minutes.

Please know the difference between illegal and improper equipment. Illegal is jewelry or not age or size appropriate shin guards for example while improperly equipped is a shin guard that falls out, slips to the side, etc.

Varsity match (regular season): -
2 x 40 min; 1/2 time 10 Minutes; -
2 x 10 min sudden victory OT; 1/2 time 5 minutes
JV match: -
2 x 36 min; 1/2 time 10 minutes; No OT
Middle school match:
Times vary, check with coaches at field;
1/2 time 10 minutes; No OT
Games back-to-back 8th 25M/7th 20M halves
Two simultaneous games 30M Halves

The proper uniform includes the traditional black/white zippered jersey (not v-neck), black or yellow PIAA shirt (not USSF), black soccer shorts (not basketball or golf shorts), and black socks with three white stripes at the top (not ankle socks).
