Welcome to the Suburban Philadelphia PIAA Soccer Officials Chapter website.

The chapter provides in season training; rules and interpretations; situation discussions and gives the schools we service an avenue to pursue questions; corrections; misinterpretations.

Special Olympics Soccer (5v5 and 7v7)

Please consider volunteering to officiate at one (or both) of the events below. This is a great way to support Special Olympics and "give back" to the communities we serve.​

​Special Olympics Eastern Fall Sectional: Sunday, October 6, 2024: DeSales University.  This is a qualifying sectional event for the Eastern PA athletes to earn a trip to go to states (Fall Festival). Volunteer shifts are available for morning, afternoon or all day.


Special Olympics Fall Festival: November 1 – 3, 2024: Villanova University: This is the Fall State Championships. Athletes must qualify to attend.   Volunteer shifts are available for morning, afternoon or all day.

Make a Difference - Become an Official - There are many benefits to becoming an official for interscholastic athletics. You are making a difference in the lives of students everywhere, encouraging exercise through competition, and establishing life long fundamentals of fairness. The job is not for the faint of heart. It challenges you athletically, requires cool and decisive thinking, and means "sticking to your guns", but the rewards are great.
